WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED FROM THE BRIDE AND GROOM?

• Full English names of the bride and groom(if you will be having English text)
• Hebrew names of the Bride, Groom and father of the Bride and Groom. For some conservative ceremonies and all Reform ceremonies, the Hebrew name of the mothers of the Bride and Groom may be required. If you do not know the Hebrew name of a parent, consult your rabbi. • If the father of the bride or groom is a Levi or Kohen, I need this information for the Ketubbah.
• Full text of the Ketubbah as designated by your rabbi
• Date and time of the ceremony
• The city where the ceremony will take place. Ask your Rabbi if he / she has a preference of spellings for the city or town.
• The number of people who will be signing the Ketubbah as witnesses.

HOW MUCH INPUT DO WE HAVE IN THE DESIGN OF OUR KETUBBAH?

The beauty of ordering a custom ketubah is that you have the freedom to design it from scratch. You can choose what shape you would like it to be, what colours will be incorporated into the design and what symbols you would like to include. Ketubot are painted on a full sheet of watercolour paper (22" by 30") unless you request otherwise. The design can be done in either landscape or portrait format. (oriented horizontally or vertically)

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED TO ORDER A KETUBAH?

Ideally, it is best to leave 8-10 weeks between the date of ordering and the date of completion. If you are in a rush, arrangements can usually be made to accommodate you. There may be an extra charge for rush orders.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUSTOM KETUBAH COST?

C) Giclee Printst

These high resolution reproductions can be ordered in Orthodox, Conservative or Reform.  The couple can provide desired text if necessary.

IF I DON’T LIVE IN TORONTO, HOW DO WE EXCHANGE INFORMATION?

Information can be faxed, scanned and e mailed. All text and names must be faxed and must be clear and legible. Sketches can be photographed and e-mailed or faxed. Under no circumstances can names be communicated by telephone.

HOW WILL YOU DELIVER MY KETUBAH IF I LIVE OUTSIDE TORONTO?

Ketubbot are shipped throughout North America and Europe via UPS or Purolator which are very reliable couriers. A signature is required for all deliveries to safeguard that the document gets directly to you. Once I have your certified cheque or bank draft for the balance, the Ketubbah will be shipped in a cardboard cylinder container, rolled and wrapped in tissue for protection.
